Role Description
Choice Translating is seeking on-site (OSI), video remote (VRI), and over-the-phone (OPI) contractor interpreters for multiple languages to join our team of talented linguists.
- Languages Needed but not limited to:
- Arabic
- Armenian
- Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Dari
- French
- Gujarati
- Haitian Creole
- Hakka Chin
- Jarai
- Hindi
- Korean
- Portuguese
- Russian
- Somali
- Spanish

- Tigrinya
- Turkish
- Twi
- Ukrainian
- Vietnamese

Location: Based in Charlotte, NC for on-site interpreting. Open to interpreters located anywhere in the United States for VRI/OPI opportunities.
Qualifications
- Fully bilingual, fluent in English and language applying for.
- Technologically proficient (familiar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher).
- Clean driving record, valid driver’s insurance, and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret spoken communication in real-time.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and interpreter Code of Ethics.
- Manage your own flexible schedule and accept appointments as needed.
- Provide services on-site, via video (VRI), or by phone (OPI).
- Be punctual, professional, and committed to high-quality work.
