Job Description
• Partner closely with Product and Design to build and improve Monarch's core product features on mobile platforms (iOS/android). Example features include: Budgeting, Goals, Assistant
• Establish mobile engineering best practices on the team, code quality standards, and development processes that enable rapid iteration while maintaining product reliability
• Mentor your fellow engineering peers
• Help shape our longer-term mobile technical roadmaps
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 2 years using React Native/TypeScript, plus working knowledge of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin)
- You consider yourself "product-centric" and take pride in building something people love
- You have superb written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical teammates
- Strong ownership mentality-you see projects through from initial spec to production monitoring
- Experience building fintech or consumer financial products
- Full-stack web engineering experience (React, Python)
- Background in performance optimization and mobile app analytics
- Previous experience at a high-growth startup (Series A-C)
