Job Description
Role Description
The Senior SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the following:
- 9+ years of SAP Basis administration experience supporting enterprise environments including S/4HANA, BW/BI, Solution Manager, Fiori, PI/PO, Cloud ALM, and C4C.
- Strong experience with SAP installations, upgrades, enhancement packs, support packages, and system migrations.
- Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture, SAP HANA database administration, and SAP system landscape management.
- Experience managing SAP client copies, system refreshes, transport management systems, and background job scheduling.
- Proficiency in monitoring and optimizing SAP system performance, including database, application servers, and interfaces.
- Experience administering databases such as SAP HANA, Oracle (including Exadata), or other enterprise platforms across Linux, Solaris, or Oracle environments.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA data archiving, including configuration of file systems, archive storage locations, and monitoring archiving jobs.
- Strong documentation skills with experience maintaining technical documentation, architecture diagrams, disaster recovery planning, and operational procedures.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in fast-paced enterprise environments.

- Experience hosting SAP workloads in Azure, AWS, or GCP (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Terraform (Nice to Have)

- Experience with SAP integration tools and interfaces such as BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, iFlows, or PI/PO (Nice to Have)
