Job Description
Role Description
The Director of Quality for DPC will have strategic responsibility to provide quality leadership, oversight, and direction across our DPC business. Focused on ensuring a robust and scalable quality management system is in place to meet the needs of our varied businesses, this strategic leader will be required to collaborate with teams across DPC sites and businesses to drive quality policies, standards, and systems to ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across DPC’s global business entities including operations, supplier quality, and engineering quality.
- Work in conjunction with other leaders to develop quality performance metrics for plants and suppliers.
- Maintain records of performance and provide reports to upper management periodically.
- Support the needs across DPC businesses to ensure quality requirements are clearly specified.
- Lead the implementation of best quality practices across business divisions and DPC suppliers.
- Maintain and improve supplier quality improvement programs and processes for evaluating and qualifying new suppliers.
- Plan and lead management reviews, internal and external audits, to ensure compliance with customer, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
- Serve as the lead on key customer communications related to quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- ASQ, CMQ, CQE certification or similar preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the manufacturing sector; at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading Quality teams with a detailed track record in strategic quality leadership in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and negotiating skills.
- Experience in supporting Hyperscale data centers preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and certifications.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- High level of self-initiative and dependability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of project management processes and principles.
Requirements
- Able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to travel globally as needed up to 50 percent of the time.
