Role Description
We are seeking a results-oriented Strategic Partnerships Director (Individual Contributor) to drive growth across our healthcare SaaS business by identifying, building, and scaling strategic partnerships that expand market presence, accelerate revenue, and support Nextech’s go-to-market strategy. This role leads high-impact partner relationships across the ecosystem, creating executive-level alignment, joint solutions, and coordinated GTM motions that deliver measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings strong executive presence, strategic judgment, and the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners, while strengthening existing relationships and developing new market opportunities. This position does not include direct people management responsibilities. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.
Essential Functions
- Strategic Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership by shaping and driving partner strategy to activate partners.
- Drive Growth: Drive partner-created pipeline and bookings, while bringing a clear partner point of view into account planning and early-stage opportunities.
- Accelerate Deals: Partner closely with aligned sales teams to move in-flight opportunities forward and build clear, effective close plans.
- Increase Accountability: Work closely with Nextech field sales, business development, revenue operations and marketing to identify, qualify, and deliver early-stage pipeline, while surfacing and prioritizing critical partner issues to sales leadership as needed.
- Relationship Development: Build strong relationships with senior sales leadership and establish a consistent operating cadence with aligned sales teams, serving as the primary liaison between the Nextech partner ecosystem and direct sales.
- Cross-Functional Operator: Leverage the Nextech ecosystem across operations, marketing, sales, and technical teams to drive partner-led pipeline creation through to conversion.
- Partner Marketing: Collaborate with partners to execute joint marketing initiatives, including events and campaigns, that generate measurable pipeline.
- Team Collaboration: Support leadership in fostering a culture of teamwork, openness, creativity, and ongoing collaboration.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales and/or partner channel sales, with a track record of enabling, selling with, and marketing through partners at the executive level.
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals through disciplined execution and strong pipeline management.
- Demonstrated experience building and growing partner business, proactively managing pipeline and in-quarter partner deals.
- Strong understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Software, Healthcare industry, Payments Software, and SaaS methodologies.
- Recognized as a strong communicator and trusted voice in articulating business value.
- Thrive in ambiguous environments with a bias toward action and follow-through.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
