Job Description
Role Description
Redefine the future of customer experiences. One conversation at a time. At Nextiva, we’re reimagining how businesses connect, bringing together customer experience and team collaboration on a single, conversation-centric platform. Powered by AI, driven by human innovation.
This full-cycle sales role is ideal for a consultative seller who understands the value of long-term relationships and knows how to uncover new business opportunities from within an active customer base. You’ll discover how customers run their businesses, identify pain points, and guide them to solutions that drive real impact. You’ll play an important role in helping our customers unlock more value from their investment and achieve long-term growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Sell Nextiva solutions through a primarily outbound motion to existing small business customers (less than 100 employees)
- Uncover opportunities through strategic, prospecting and discovery-led outreach using calls, email, SMS, and voicemail
- Recommend and position Nextiva solutions — from call center features to analytics and AI tools — that solve real business problems
- Deliver personalized product demos that show how Nextiva creates meaningful business outcomes
- Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities within the existing customer pool, leveraging structured outreach strategies and available insights
- Qualify, prioritize, and close deals with confidence
- Use Salesforce to manage pipeline and forecast revenue accurately
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment across teams
- Champion Nextiva’s standard of Delivering Amazing Service® in every customer interaction
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, or business development in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in telecommunications, technology, or other relevant industries
- Demonstrated success in outbound customer engagement — not reliant on inbound leads or support triggers preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota and/or other relevant revenue KPIs (retention, renewal, upsell/cross-sell, lead generation, etc.) preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume environment and/or managing high volume books of business
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication for high-volume outreach. English fluency required (spoken and written)
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Comfortable navigating a team-driven sales model with a collaborative mindset
- Highly coachable, organized, and motivated by results
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration (Nice to Have)
- B2B Sales Experience (Nice to Have)
- Experience selling SaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or PaaS solutions (Nice to Have)
- Experience delivering demos and pitch decks (Nice to Have)
- Experience selling to US based customers (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, pipeline forecasting, and qualification frameworks like BANT or MEDDPICC (Nice to Have)
Benefits

- Life Insurance (24 times your monthly salary)
- Newly hired full-time employees at Nextiva receive 10 personal days before their first anniversary, 12 vacation days on their first anniversary, and 5 personal days annually thereafter in addition to vacation time
- Enjoy a 30-day Christmas bonus, 50% vacation premium, company-matched food vouchers (1 UMA/month), and a 13% matched savings fund (capped at 1.3x annual UMA)
- Employee Assistance Program and comprehensive wellness initiatives
- Access to ongoing learning and development opportunities and career advancement
