Role Description

The Senior Product Manager for the STAR Franchise will lead product strategies, competitive intelligence, and KOL engagement to drive revenue growth and enhance market positioning. The role involves leveraging forecasting tools, managing budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align product initiatives with corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Execution
    • Develop and implement marketing plans for assigned product lines, including revenue forecasts, demand planning, and advertising requirements.
    • Define and manage product positioning, messaging, and branding strategies to differentiate STAR Franchise products in the marketplace.
  • Competitive Intelligence Leadership
    • Develop and manage competitive intelligence strategies to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
    • Provide actionable insights to the Head of Marketing and cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions.
  • KOL and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather market insights and drive product advocacy.
    • Collaborate with KOLs to support educational initiatives and product innovation.
  • Forecasting and Reporting
    • Utilize forecasting tools and analytics to assess product performance and market trends.
    • Provide data-driven insights to the Head of Marketing to support strategic planning.
  • Budget and Financial Management
    • Assist in managing the marketing budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
    • Track and report on the financial performance of assigned product lines.
  • Customer and Market Insights
    • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify opportunities and inform product strategies.
    • Act as the voice of the customer by collecting feedback from sales teams, KOLs, and end-users.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Sales, Professional Education, and Product Development to align product initiatives with go-to-market strategies.
    • Partner with Business Development to support new product opportunities.
  • Promotional Activities
    • Manage the development and distribution of promotional materials to support sales and marketing programs.
    • Represent STAR Franchise products effectively at trade shows and industry events.
  • Content Creation and Training
    • Work with internal teams to develop training materials and technical expertise for sales and customer service teams.
    • Ensure training materials reflect updated product positioning and strategies.
  • Special Projects
    • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Marketing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years of product management experience in medical device, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying product strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • People management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
