Role Description

We're looking for an exceptional Triage Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our vibrant Diabetes Education Clinic team! This isn't your average nursing role – we're seeking a proactive and empathetic professional who can expertly navigate a diverse range of patient needs, all while bringing a healthy dose of enthusiasm to their work.

Think of yourself as a diabetes superhero in scrubs! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to be the first point of contact for our amazing patients. You'll be the friendly voice and keen ear that identifies their immediate needs, guides them through their diabetes journey, and ensures they get the right care at the right time.

• Gather critical health information and listen with a discerning ear.
• Assess symptoms and determine the urgency of care.
• Make sound clinical judgments to prioritize patient needs.
• Provide clear and concise information and answer patient questions.
• Direct patients to appropriate resources (educational materials, support groups, helpful apps).
• Work hand-in-hand with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records.
• Approach every patient interaction with compassion.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.

Requirements

• Up to $5000 Sign on Bonus Offered, paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment!
• Location: FLEXIBLE! Omaha Metro area or Council Bluffs!
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p.
