Job Description

**This is a Remote Opportunity**

We’re looking for bold, entrepreneurial talent ready to help build something extraordinary — and reshape the future of building products distribution.

QXO is a publicly traded company founded by Brad Jacobs with the goal of building the market-leading company in the building products distribution industry. On April 30, 2025, QXO completed its first acquisition: Beacon Building Products, a leading distributor in the sector.

We are building a customer-focused, tech-enabled, and innovation-driven business that will scale rapidly through accretive M&A, organic growth, and greenfield expansion. Our strategy is rooted in delivering exceptional customer experiences, improving operational efficiency, and leveraging data, digital tools, and AI to modernize a historically under-digitized industry.

What you'll do:

Lead the Oracle Cloud Financials Platform

· Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud Financials modules (AR, AP, GL, FA, Cash Management, PPM) and other relevant boundary finance applications that integrate with Oracle.

· Oversee end-to-end administration of system design, configurations, integrations, reporting, and data flows across all Oracle finance modules.

· Maintain system stability, compliance, and scalability.

· Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, training materials and process procedures to ensure knowledge continuity and operational consistency.

Configure and Administer Finance Applications

· Perform configuration of Oracle cloud financial modules and other required boundary applications to support business requirements and ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

· Define and maintain subledger configurations, chart of accounts structures, ledgers, subledger accounting rules, financial hierarchies, and accounting configurations

· Design, develop, and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).

· Configure and maintain bank accounts, cash positioning structures, reconciliation rules, and liquidity management processes to ensure strong treasury controls.

· Govern configuration changes by assessing cross-module and cross-country impacts before implementation to maintain system integrity and control.

Provide Operational Support and Resolve Issues

· Lead day-to-day functional support activities by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues in a timely manner to maintain operational continuity.

· Oversee and optimize period-end close processes, subledger reconciliation support, bank reconciliation support, and cash positioning support to improve accuracy and efficiency.

· Support financial audits and compliance reviews by providing documentation, system evidence, and process explanations as required.

· Coordinate with Oracle support when necessary.

Drive Continuous Improvement and Change Management

· Lead requirements gathering workshops with Finance stakeholders to document business needs and translate them into clear functional design specifications.

· Lead the onboarding of acquired companies into Oracle Cloud ERP by managing configuration, integration, and deployment activities.

· Design and deliver system enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives by supporting full project lifecycle activities including design, build, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

· Support Oracle quarterly updates by reviewing release notes, assessing business impact, testing critical processes, and coordinating required changes.
