Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and highly analytical Corporate Development Manager to join our remote leadership team. In this role, you will support the companys long-term growth strategy by identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, investments, and market expansion opportunities.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in corporate strategy, financial analysis, and deal execution, with the ability to work cross-functionally with executive leadership, finance, and operational teams. This fully remote position requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to manage complex strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate strategic growth opportunities including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to support strategic decision-making
Build financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases to support corporate development initiatives
Support due diligence processes including financial, operational, and strategic assessments of potential targets
Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align development initiatives with company goals
Lead project coordination for strategic transactions and partnerships from evaluation through execution
Develop presentations and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders
Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity to identify new opportunities
Maintain documentation and reporting related to strategic initiatives and investment activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or strategic finance
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, or investment transactions
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a remote environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States with a valid U.S. work permit
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in technology, energy, healthcare, or high-growth industries
Familiarity with financial modeling tools and data analysis platforms
Prior experience in a remote or distributed corporate environment
Strong negotiation and deal-structuring experience
