Your role
As a therapist with Marvin, you’ll provide evidence-based virtual therapy to adult healthcare workers. Role details include:
Deliver high-quality, confidential teletherapy sessions on our HIPAA-compliant video platform (Zoom) to doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals
Use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or Gottman Method
Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes in our streamlined EHR
Incorporate measurement-based tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to monitor progress and improve outcomes
What we’re looking for
Independent licensure in Illinois as an LMFT, LCSW, LCPC, or Licensed Psychologist (See our Careers Page for other states we’re hiring in)
Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy to adults
Experience providing therapy to healthcare professionals, mental healthcare workers, and/or first responders
Availability for at least 10-15 hours per week
Comfort delivering therapy via video platforms, using EHRs, digital scheduling tools, and Google Workspace
Ability to incorporate assessment and measurement-based tools (i.e. PHQ-9) to monitor progress and improve treatment outcomes
Experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR or Gottman Method
Commitment to practicing cultural humility and patient-centered care
Passion for supporting the mental health of healthcare workers!
Compensation
We value your time and expertise. As a remote independent contractor, you’ll receive competitive hourly pay. Because your time matters, you’ll be compensated 50% of your rate for late cancellations or no-shows.
LMFT, LCSW, LCPC: $60 - $70/hr (depending on experience)
Licensed Psychologist: $70 - $80/hr
