The Cleveland Clinic is seeking a compassionate, communicative, and wellness-oriented individual to join our eCoaching Program as an eHealth Coach. This full-time, remote position plays a vital role in engaging with participants daily through electronic communication, primarily email to educate, motivate, and encourage healthy lifestyle behaviors.

This role provides a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by helping our caregivers build healthier lifestyles through daily, meaningful email communication. It’s a unique role that blends compassion, communication, and wellness, allowing you to motivate and support individuals as they work toward their health goals, and gives you both purpose and career growth opportunities.

A caregiver in this position works remotely Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Must live in Northeast Ohio and have reliable transport to come on site when needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Communicate daily with program participants using personalized, scripted emails based on clinician-designed protocols.
  • Maintain participant engagement through ongoing, supportive messaging and follow-ups.
  • Utilize online systems to document interactions, manage cases, and prompt participants as needed.
  • Contribute to wellness outreach through social media, blogs, health fairs, and presentations.
  • Support onboarding and re-enrollment processes for program participants.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss progress, research, and coaching strategies.
  • Occasionally assist with sales and customer-facing presentations.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience in a health care or customer service environment OR Bachelor’s degree
  • Comfort with technology and digital communication platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work within message-based coaching platforms

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Progress towards or Degree in Nutrition, Education, Social Work, Exercise Physiology or related field
  • National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) certification within the first year
  • Health coaching experience
