Job Description

Are you ready to own something big? Automox is turning IT admins into IT heroes by replacing traditional tools with our award winning cloud-native endpoint management platform. Our product works autonomously and so do our teams. We value a ‘one team’ mentality where everyone’s unique skills contribute to an environment that encourages collaboration and ownership. At Automox you’re enabled to do your best work, grow your career, and have an impact that will be noticeable. WE ARE A_TOMOX… all that’s missing is U!

We’re looking for a pragmatic, and business-oriented Senior Counsel to join our legal team to support a broad range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, legal operations, employment, privacy and security, intellectual property, and compliance. This is a hands-on, agile role that requires both attention to detail and the ability to think broadly across a range of legal domains. Success in this role will depend on translating legal guidance into practical implementation across the business. This role is ideal for a skilled attorney who is eager to grow within a fast-paced B2B SaaS company and gain hands-on experience across multiple legal domains under the guidance of the General Counsel. If you’re excited to blend legal expertise with business impact, we’d love to connect.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN & DRIVE

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, including customer-facing SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and partner/channel agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Security, and Product—on legal issues and business risks.
  • Assist with legal support for HR and employment matters, product compliance, marketing programs, and privacy initiatives.
  • Identify and escalate legal and regulatory risks appropriately while recommending practical, business-aligned solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement of legal department operations, processes, templates, and playbooks.
  • Assist the General Counsel on projects involving governance, compliance, policy development, and outside counsel management.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of legal experience, including a combination of law firm and in-house roles (prior in-house experience with a technology or SaaS company preferred).
  • Working knowledge of SaaS commercial contracting and core legal issues impacting software businesses.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and an ability to translate legal risk into business context.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn from and contribute to a high-performing team.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple priorities with appropriate support.
  • Demonstrates judgment, integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and sense of humor.
  • Privacy compliance experience a bonus.
  • Legal operations experience a bonus.

The salary range listed is the base pay range for this position. In addition, the total compensation package includes bonus, equity and benefits. Actual earnings may be less or more depending on a candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
