Proven experience designing scalable data pipelines in cloud environments
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in SQL
Strong hands-on experience with Spark and Python
Deep understanding of ETL/ELT architecture and data pipeline orchestration
Experience with Azure data services and Databricks
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues quickly
Data Governance & Analysis
Advanced knowledge of data governance practices, standards, and compliance frameworks
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret both high-level patterns and granular datasets
Experience implementing data quality controls and reconciliation processes
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
Master’s degree or certifications such as CDMP or DGSP are a plus
This position is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity, with contract-only arrangements also considered. Upon conversion to full-time employment, the salary range is $150,000–$160,000 annually (approximately $70–$80 per hour equivalent).
