Description
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and account reconciliations
- Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met
- Analyze financial statements and variances; provide insights and explanations to management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support external and internal audits, including preparation of audit schedules
- Assist with financial reporting, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis
- Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 2+ years of strong Oracle experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with month‑end close and reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
