Job Requirements
- BS/BAs degree in IT or related field (Industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- At least 5 years of experience in similar role
- Network focused industry certifications
- Certifications in Juniper, Cisco, Microsoft, or equivalent
- Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
- Network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, Paessler, or Splunk
- Disaster Recovery planning/testing
- Expert level knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices
- High-level knowledge of QoS, MPLS, Ethernet, VLAN’s, routing protocols
- Previous experience supporting a multi-site, interconnected network environment with 500+ employees
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

The Senior Network Architect will be responsible for architecting, building, and supporting solutions that streamline processes, acting as an escalation point for network and customer issues across global points of presence. They will also collaborate on developing organizational standards, building/testing automation tools, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of network and application security products.
