This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of Solutions Architects delivering innovative, mission-critical technology solutions for public safety, campus, and corrections environments. You will balance hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding your team to design and implement high-quality, integrated solutions. The position combines strategic oversight, project management, and direct client engagement, ensuring successful deployments while fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to drive adoption of best practices and maintain consistent solution architecture standards. Accountabilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 8–10 Solutions Architects, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance on solution design, IT system architecture analysis, and technical project delivery.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders, including sales, product, engineering, and account management, to ensure successful project implementation and integration.
- Oversee team performance, resource allocation, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
- Drive process improvements in architecture standards, project execution, and team operations.
- Support complex or unique client engagements with technical depth and strategic insight.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 4–6 years of experience in solution architecture or related technical leadership roles.
- 1–3 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Expertise in solution architecture frameworks, cloud technologies, and systems integration.
- Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management and business process analysis experience.
- Basic understanding of integration coding methodologies.
- Public safety sector experience preferred (e.g., RMS/CAD implementations).
- Ability to pass and maintain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) clearance.
