Job Summary

The Fundraising Strategist supports the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns for nonprofit clients. This role works closely with internal teams to develop donor engagement strategies that drive measurable fundraising results.

The Fundraising Strategist plays a key role in campaign planning, donor journey development, and performance optimization.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the development of fundraising campaign strategies.

  • Assist in planning donor acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with analytics teams to evaluate campaign performance.

  • Work with creative teams to ensure messaging aligns with fundraising strategy.

  • Conduct research on donor behavior, fundraising trends, and industry best practices.

  • Assist in preparing campaign strategy presentations for clients.

  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.

  • 3–6 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing strategy, or consulting.

  • Experience supporting fundraising campaigns preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • This is primarily a remote position requiring the ability to work from a home office or remote location with reliable internet and phone service.

  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.

  • Ability to participate in virtual meetings, requiring clear communication and active listening.

  • Occasional travel for team meetings, client engagements, or company events may be required depending on the role.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a digital environment requiring prioritization and time management.

Work Location & Travel

This role is remote-friendly. Candidates located near one of our office hubs may be asked to work on a hybrid schedule. Employees outside of these areas may occasionally travel for team meetings, training sessions, or company events.
