Job Requirements
- obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline
- gained a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- strong experience in AutoCAD and familiarity with simulation software
- ability to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites for support visits (1-3 trips per month for 1-2 nights per trip)
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project timelines
- knowledge of material handling systems and technologies, process management and improvement, and system analysis
- strong understanding of distribution center operations, including picking strategies, storage technologies, and order fulfillment processes
- background and experience in material handling engineering, industrial automation, supply chain engineering, or related fields, including designing systems for high-volume fulfillment, manufacturing logistics, or warehouse automation environments, and supporting automation solution selling or presales activities
- strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, plus working knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Access (including database query development)
- experience collaborating with software engineering, controls, project management, and innovation teams to develop and implement automation solutions
- excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to work professionally with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
