Work Arrangement

This is a remote position with frequent travel.

Job Overview

This position supports a ground and flight test program, managing product delivery and supply chain processes to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods and government propoerty/equipment through the supply chain out to operating locations worldwide. It involves coordination, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts to optimize the logistics process and meet customer and goals of the Government Property Management Program.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the coordination, management, and execution of the Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) of government property/equipment and commercial material.
  • Support the Government Property Manager with inventory, reporting, and procurement efforts.
  • Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and the safety of staff.
  • Safeguarding documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
  • Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of inventory processes, controls, and related software, databases, and systems.
  • Valid US driver’s license.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey information clearly, collaborate effectively, and provide tactful, constructive feedback.
  • Skilled at interacting professionally and courteously with a diverse range of customers and staff.
  • Able to work independently with accountability for accurate, thorough results.
  • Highly organized and exceptionally detail-oriented.

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Additional experience may substitute for degree.

Experience

  • Prior experience with warehouse management procedures preferred.
  • Prior experience operating a forklift effectively preferred.
