Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Community Outreach and Partnership Assistant at our partner organization KindNest, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting pregnant women, new mothers, and families with young children. The Community Outreach and Partnership Assistant will assist KindNest in building relationships with local businesses, community organizations and donors. The assistant will help expand the nonprofit network of partners while supporting initiatives that bring resources and services to families in need.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research potential community partners, sponsors and donation supporters.
- Assistant with drafting outreach emails and communication to businesses and organizations.
- Support coordination of donation drives and community partnerships.
- Maintain records of partnership contacts and outreach efforts.
- Assist with planning and organizing community engagement initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities for collaborations and nonprofit partnerships.
- Support follow-up communication with community partners and supporters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Work study part of financial aid package
- Students with work study may be prioritized
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in community development, nonprofit work, or social services
- Ability to conduct basic research and organize information
- Professional communication skills in email and written outreach
- Self-motivsated with the ability to work independently
Learning Outcomes:
- Develop skills in nonprofit community engagement and partnership building
- Gain experience with outreach strategies and relationship management
- Learn how nonprofit organizations build community networks and support systems
- Strengthen professional communication and networking skills
- Understand how community partnerships support nonprofit program growth
Work Schedule: Flexible, remote schedule. Hours coordinated weekly based on student availability and organizational needs.

Compensation
