Job Description

• Provider Screening: Conduct pre-screening interviews for nurse practitioners and other prescribers to assess clinical experience, practice style, and alignment with organizational standards. You will be responsible for providing clear, concise screening notes and recommendations for next steps. • Provider Support: Facilitate psychiatry office hours in order to facilitate peer-based support for psychiatry providers on SonderMind platform. • Reactive Quality Assurance: Review escalated clinical concerns, client complaints, and chart review findings that require a psychiatric prescriber’s perspective. This includes conducting peer-to-peer outreach to clarify clinical decision-making and providing feedback aligned with standards of care and risk management. • Proactive Quality Assurance: Collaborate with data and AI-supported chart review tools to review telemetry related to prescribing patterns and patient engagement. You will help identify providers who may need additional review, coaching, or intervention. • Product & Workflow Support: Serve as a subject matter expert to provide structured feedback on psychiatry-specific workflows, such as medication management, lab ordering, and risk assessment. You will also participate in user testing for new features and support provider education on platform best practices. • Credentialing Committee: Serve as the Chair or a designated lead for the Credentialing Committee, providing leadership and strategic oversight of the entire credentialing process. Responsibilities include directing the review of applicant materials and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Job Requirements

  • Clinical Expert: You are a psychiatrist with experience in clinical practice and risk assessment.
  • Detail-Oriented Reviewer: You have the ability to review patient details, clinical outcomes, and information about the care process to assess clinical quality, adherence to best practice, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborative Communicator: You are skilled in conducting peer-to-peer outreach and can effectively summarize serious concerns for escalation to internal committees.
  • Tech-Forward: You are comfortable working with data, AI-supported tools, and telemetry to analyze prescribing patterns and patient retention metrics.

Benefits

  • A generous PTO policy, with a minimum of three weeks off per year
  • A holiday schedule that follows standard U.S. holidays
  • Free therapy coverage benefits to ensure employees have access to the care they need (must be enrolled in a qualifying medical plan to participate)
  • Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, with plans to meet every need — including HSA (with $1,100 company contribution) and FSA options
  • Employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, life & AD&D, plus coverage of the salary difference for up to seven weeks of short-term disability leave (after the required waiting period)

  • 401(k) retirement plan with 100% match on up to 4% of base salary, immediately vested
  • Join teammates from across the country at our annual company gathering
  • Company shutdown between Christmas and New Year’s
