Job Description

• Act as the Finance business partner for the division, supporting strategic initiatives and performance analysis. • Develop and maintain the rolling forecast model, highlighting growth opportunities and any risks to Budget. • Help establish and manage financial processes such as month-end reporting, variance analysis, top line forecasting, and annual budget planning. • Partner with Analytics and Operations to analyze performance, player trends, and promotional effectiveness, making recommendations to optimize revenue and profitability. • Own FMX monthly performance reviews, clearly communicating insights to senior stakeholders. • Partner with Finance business partners and HR to manage and provide strategic insights on OPEX costs within the P&L. • Partner with our Treasury team, ensuring operational efficiency. • Develop and maintain FMX-specific KPIs, ensuring visibility into financial performance, customer behavior, and promotional effectiveness. • Collaborate with Fraud, Risk, and Payments teams to monitor financial impacts related to fraud prevention and initiatives. • Track regulatory financial requirements, ensuring compliance. • Work closely with the broader Finance team to align financial strategies with overall company objectives. • Manage competing priorities and provide clear, strategic guidance in a fast-paced environment. • Travel occasionally to Fanatics offices, industry events, and team-building activities as needed.

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical discipline.
  • 5 plus years of experience in Finance, ideally within a commercial environment.
  • Experience analyzing marketing budgets and customer lifetime value (LTV), retention, and churn metrics.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team-first mentality with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
