Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Summer Strategy Intern to support the development of our forward-looking corporate strategy. This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to assess market dynamics, evaluate internal capabilities, and shape strategic priorities for the next 3 years.
The intern will directly support enterprise-level strategic initiatives, including industry research, financial and operational analysis, and synthesis of insights into actionable recommendations.
This role is ideal for an MBA candidate or graduate student with a background in strategy, consulting, finance, economics, public policy, or a related field.
This is a full-time, temporary position (40 hours/week). This internship will start on 06/01/2026 and end on 8/31/2026.
Essential Responsibilities
● Conduct industry and competitive research to inform long-term strategy
● Support development of strategic frameworks (e.g., SWOT, PESTEL, scenario planning)
● Help prepare materials for leadership and board discussions
● Analyze financial, operational, and market data to identify growth opportunities and risks
● Assist in synthesizing findings into executive-ready presentations and strategy memos
● Support internal and external interviews and other stakeholder engagement efforts
● Contribute to development of strategic priorities, KPIs, and implementation roadmaps

- Required:
- ● Currently enrolled in an MBA or relevant graduate program
- ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ● Experience conducting structured research and synthesizing complex information
- ● Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- ● Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ● Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
- Preferred:
- ● Prior internship or employment experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or impact investing
- ● Experience with financial modeling or market sizing
- ● Familiarity with mission-driven finance, CDFIs, or social impact organizations
- ● Experience building executive-level presentations
Benefits
- The salary range for this position is $20 - $22 an hour, and includes sick leave.
- This role is primarily remote with the flexibility to come in office in Arlington, Va.
