Analyzes and improves Mid-Revenue Cycle operational workflows, identifying performance gaps and opportunities for operational optimization.
Maps current and future workflows using industry standards and best practices to support system and process improvements and system alignment with operational goals.
Executes test plans, tests cases, and scripts to validate performance of operational functions and ensure smooth transitions for end users during system changes.
Collaborates with Mid-Revenue Cycle Operations, Information Technology Services, and vendors to support application initiatives that impact Mid-Revenue Cycle performance.
Translates user requirements into functional design specifications that reflect operational needs and validates with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and usability.
Maintains accurate process documentation, including workflow diagrams, functional specifications, installation instructions, and user-facing reference materials.
Conducts data integrity reviews and system audits to identify and resolve issues, supporting continuous improvement in system-supported processes.
Participates in change control and quality assurance processes using departmental standards and regulatory guidelines.
Partners with stakeholders to identify and escalate system issues related to equipment, applications, and system functionality, ensuring timely resolution of operational disruptions.
Supports project milestones and contributes to overall project timeliness through proactive communication and task evaluation, with a focus on advancing Mid-Revenue Cycle performance goals.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Epic certification (or equivalent) required within 1 year of hire.
Mid-Revenue Cycle certification (or equivalent) required within 1 year of hire.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in health information management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience Required:
3 years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, health information management (HIM), or a related field, with demonstrated exposure to system workflows and data analysis.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Experience supporting application users and collaborating with vendors and technical experts in a healthcare or business operations setting, with a focus on Mid-Revenue Cycle systems and workflows.
Strong analytical skills to interpret operational data, identify performance gaps, and develop actionable recommendations that support process optimization and continuous improvement.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and deliver results in a timely and organized manner.
Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational issues using structured problem-solving approaches.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and process information to diverse audiences.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Lists, or similar platforms; experience with large scale automated systems preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
This is a fully remote position; work is performed in a home office environment with standard remote technology setup.
Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a private workspace conducive to independent work.
May be required to travel occasionally for team meetings, training, or division events and therefore may be exposed to road and weather hazards.
Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift or move items up to 40 lbs. (e.g., equipment or materials for remote setup).
