Role Description
EXL Risk Control evaluates businesses behind the scenes to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risk for our insurance company clients.
We are looking for an adventurous and ambitious professional to work as a Traveling Insurance Inspector (referred to internally as a “Field Analyst”). Prior experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety experience is a plus, but not a necessity given our excellent training program. This is a great “stepping stone” position to prove your capabilities for future advancement within the company.
- The Field Analyst’s primary responsibility will be traveling to areas of need across the U.S. to complete Commercial Insurance Surveys (aka inspections).
- The incumbent will be responsible for surveying commercial locations such as retail, restaurants, hotels, apartments, construction jobsites, churches, schools, etc.
- Once they have developed the adequate experience, the Field Analyst will also be responsible for auditing the competency, professionalism, and work product of field consultants.
