• Own the general ledger, month-end close process, and financial statement preparation • Oversee the work of a contract bookkeeper (AP, AR, payroll support, reconciliations) • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting • Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls • Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and compliance • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections • Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to leadership • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital • Support strategic initiatives and act as a financial advisor to the CEO • Own and improve financial systems and processes to support growth.
