The Information Security Intern is responsible for assisting with various projects within the department he/she is assigned to at Stride. Essential functions may vary from administrative, clerical and support level work to more hands-on tactical work as determined by business needs. The Intern will assist with the operations of an information security program that is aligned with Stride’s Corporate Policies and industry best practices around information security. You will help information governance operations to identify, assess, and update user access and identity information. You will interact with a variety of teams and functions in this capacity.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
Function as part of the Corporate Information Security team to identify, assess, and help mitigate information access risk as part of our day-to-day business;
Be able to apply information security best practices and techniques to the corporate environment;
Be able to assess identity & access profiles that are aligned with our Corp policies;
Assist with other information security governance & compliance functions, as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma AND
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field of study AND
Ideal candidates are rising juniors, seniors, or Spring graduates OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $22/hr.
