Role Description
Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled Smartsheet & Power BI Specialist for a contract role in Memphis TN. This consulting role requires a 10 - 20 hours per week commitment working remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Smartsheet and Power BI, and the ability to use these tools to drive business insights and improve financial processes.
- Design, develop, and implement Smartsheet solutions for various business processes.
- Design and implement automated data workflows that reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Design and implement enterprise-scale reporting environments using Smartsheet and Power BI.
- Develop executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and portfolio reporting solutions that provide real-time operational visibility.
- Build governed Power BI semantic models using DAX, Power Query, and role-based security to support enterprise analytics and secure data distribution.
- Analyze financial and operational business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Utilize CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) or similar financial systems to support financial data automation and reporting.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data automation solutions.
- Maintain and optimize reporting infrastructure and automation processes.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for data governance, documentation, and reporting standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and automation issues to ensure consistent system performance.
- Lead or support enterprise automation and analytics initiatives.
- Train business and technical users on Smartsheet and Power BI platforms to improve adoption and self-service analytics.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI or similar platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing data automation and reporting solutions.
- Experience working with financial data, finance operations, or financial reporting environments.
- Experience using CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) or similar financial systems.
- Strong experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Experience working with data integration, data transformation, and reporting systems.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms.
- Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, or scripting for automation.
- Experience supporting enterprise analytics, reporting modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
