Job Description

• Output completed engines from the Cost Management System (CMS) to the product line ledgers • Monitor and report on output part cost variance drivers • Actively manage and review engine output cost at the part and engine level to ensure accuracy and completeness • Reconcile CMS inventory subledger output cost to engine trend report • Prepare and review journal entries ensuring compliance with GE Aerospace accounting policies & US GAAP • Support engine modernization ERP efforts • Support CMS data quality partners with annual physical inventory and book to physical reconciliation • Drive standard work and simplification efforts • Identify areas for improving processes and internal controls • Prepare audit support documentation and lead discussions with internal and external auditors

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Controllership Operations
  • Good working knowledge of General Ledger and Finance Data Lake
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Ability to coordinate several priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Proficient with Excel, Alteryx and Spotfire
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
