POSITION SUMMARY
EarnIn is looking for a Compliance Management System (CMS) Analyst to help scale and strengthen EarnIn’s compliance program as we launch and evolve new financial products and services. This role sits at the intersection of compliance, product development, and operational excellence. You’ll lead compliance risk assessments, control design and validation, and quality assurance activities across our CMS while partnering closely with teams across the company to ensure the right safeguards are built, implemented, and maintained. You’ll also help modernize how compliance operates by introducing automation, analytics, and AI-enabled approaches to improve monitoring, control validation, and quality assurance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable compliance programs in fast-growing fintech environments and working collaboratively with teams creating new financial products. This is a remote position that offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The US base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct compliance risk assessments for products, features, operational changes, and at the enterprise level.
- Serve as a compliance partner to product and engineering teams, translating regulatory expectations into practical controls as features are designed and launched.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable compliance controls throughout the product lifecycle.
- Perform control validation to confirm controls operate effectively and mitigate regulatory risk.
- Help build and scale monitoring and quality assurance capabilities across the Compliance Management System.
- Help modernize compliance operations by introducing automation, analytics, and AI-enabled approaches to control validation and monitoring.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of practical, business-focused compliance training.
- Track issues, remediation efforts, and control improvements as part of continuous CMS enhancement.
- Partner with other compliance functions on cross-functional regulatory and operational initiatives.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1+ years of experience in fraud investigations, dispute resolution, compliance, or risk management within fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with U.S. consumer financial regulations (e.g., UDAAP, Reg Z, etc.).
- Experience conducting compliance risk assessments and evaluating control effectiveness.
- Familiarity operating within a Compliance Management System (CMS).
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, scalable operational controls.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- A collaborative, low-ego team player who thrives in fast-paced environments where teams build and iterate quickly.

- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams.
- Experience working in high-growth fintech or digital financial services companies.
