Job Description
• Focus on utility planning and advisory projects.
• Preparing new generator interconnection applications.
• Reviewing ISO feasibility and system impact studies.
• Performing independent power system studies.
• Performing advanced grid system studies for new conventional and renewable generation projects.
Job Requirements
- We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with strong academic background and coursework emphasis in Power Systems Analysis.
- 3+ years previous power systems engineering experience.
- Knowledge of power regions and ISOs/RTOs – PJM, MISO, NYISO, ERCOT, SPP, CAISO, and ISO-NE.
- Experience in modeling inverter-based resources and renewable generation.
- Experience in using software programs PSS/E, PSLF, and/or PSCAD.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Experience in writing technical reports and proposals.
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others.
- Project planning and leadership skills.
