Job Description

Wolters Kluwer DXG U.S., Inc. seeks Performance Test Engineering - Product Engineer III in Riverwoods, IL.  

Job Description:

  • Assist in the development of performance test strategies and frameworks, ensuring they align with organizational goals and industry best practices;
  • Participate in the execution of performance, scalability, stability, and stress tests, utilizing established tools and methodologies;
  • Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and support initiatives for system optimization and enhancement;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to integrate performance objectives into the product lifecycle;
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and development within the team; and
  • Create technical documentation and reports, offering insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Education + Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field plus 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Performance Test Engineer, IT Architect, or related occupation.

Skill Set Requirements:

4 years of experience in the following skills:

  • Performance testing using LoadRunner or JMeter;
  • Reading and writing in C#;
  • Analyzing performance metrics and optimizing stored procedures in SQL;
  • Creating technical documentation and reports for software applications and solutions;
  • Mentoring junior developers, architects, or product managers; and
  • Analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and pinpointing bottlenecks to support system operation.

Telecommuting permitted. 40 hours/week. $104,728 to $125,000 per year.

Compensation:

$78,400.00 - $136,975.00 USD

 

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.  Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location. Your recruiter can share more information about the specific offer for the job location during the hiring process.
