The Business Operations Analyst position provides project-based support within operations, focusing on identifying and managing milestones and dependencies across various stakeholders. They ensure an understanding of operations impacts. These professionals ensure that initiatives adhere to schedule, budget, and quality standards. They track, measure, and report on project status, performance issues, and risks, while also supporting standard management reporting processes and metrics throughout the project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively monitor, measure, and manage the execution of deliverables and project performance from initiation through implementation
Regularly report project status to project team, key stakeholders, and account leadership
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
Manage project resource availability and allocation
Manage the requirements and demands of multiple stakeholders
Implement control mechanisms and exercise on-going risk management techniques to minimize and mitigate project risks and issues
Manages resources, projects, and budgets to meet all established goals and drives service delivery excellence through individual and team performance
Review all client requests for clarity, provide clear work directions, determine the level of assistance required and respond appropriately
Manage change control requirements by reviewing and deploying comprehensive project work plans
Demonstrate ability to quickly become a proficient expert in client processes and related systems to effectively perform responsibilities
Review metrics and reporting regularly and conduct quality assurance meetings with client
Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of work product
Analyze complex reports and formulate conclusions
Implements and sustains delivery and operational excellence practices across assigned operations delivery teams
Supports process measurement, management, and improvement initiatives across assigned operations delivery teams
Reports progress to Delivery
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in scheduling, project management, and / or financial analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Outlook
- Project management tools to include MS Project, SharePoint, PPM
- Strong attention to detail, follow up, highly organized
- Strong process orientation in approach to work
Professional Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills, particularly related to project execution
- Demonstrated professional interpersonal and leadership skills, including high level of motivation, integrity, and self confidence
- Ability to take initiative and to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to balance workload under short deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to influence others
- Ability to communicate effectively between multiple teams
