This role requires extensive field travel (80%) to engage directly with our partners and markets.
What you'll do...
Strategic Partnership & Account Growth:

- Lead, coach, and mentor Aftermarket Zone Managers (AZMs) within your market area, empowering them to consistently exceed sales targets and develop high-performing sales strategies.
- Drive increased commitment from accounts to aggressively stock and sell Motorcraft parts, ensuring optimal product penetration and market presence.
- Elevate WD and BOD satisfaction through proactive, results-driven account management, fostering loyalty that translates into sustained sales growth.
- Strategically manage FAD credit and collection issues to maintain healthy business relationships and ensure uninterrupted sales channels.
Aggressive Sales & Market Expansion:
- Direct and optimize the daily sales activities of Aftermarket Zone Managers, ensuring alignment with overarching sales goals and market opportunities.
- Leverage the Ford Professional Service Network (PSN) program to build unwavering loyalty and engagement among members, directly translating into increased sales volume.
- Secure and expand lucrative bulk oil agreements, acquisition, and retention strategies by expertly managing relationships with BODs, collaborating closely with the Dealer-facing field team.
- Hold WDs and BODs accountable for delivering aggressive part sales and penetration objectives, implementing performance metrics and corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and execute high-impact event marketing plans designed to generate leads, drive product awareness, and accelerate sales.
- Conduct compelling sales meetings and targeted product training sessions to equip partners with the knowledge and confidence to sell Motorcraft products effectively.
- Ensure the strategic and effective utilization of all sales allowances and promotional funds to maximize return on investment (ROI) and sales impact.
- Consult with accounts to optimize their infrastructure, ensuring they are fully equipped to maximize sales and distribution efficiency.
- Directly drive Motorcraft parts sales through assigned WDs to Installers, Jobbers, and Fleets within your designated market geography.
- Collaborate strategically with the Fleet/Government Ford Pro team to capture and grow Ford Pro parts sales.
- Expand Ford Pro parts sales by partnering with FADs to secure fleet business, leveraging their multi-OE brand offerings.
- Provide critical competitive intelligence on product competitiveness and pricing to inform and sharpen our sales strategies.
- Ensure the rigorous implementation of policies and program rules outlined in the FAD Policy & Procedure Manual to maintain compliant and effective sales operations.
Network Optimization & Performance Enhancement:
- Hold FADs accountable to Motorcraft agreements, taking decisive action to ensure compliance and sustained sales performance.
- Conduct thorough assessments of assigned accounts' strengths and weaknesses, optimizing stocking levels to maximize sales potential.
- Implement the Motorcraft Parts Improvement Process (PIP) and develop aggressive recovery plans for under-performing FADs to drive sales turnaround.
- Identify and execute strategic market representation actions, including new appointments or terminations, to ensure an optimal sales network and market coverage.
- Ensure WDs and BODs consistently deliver superior service levels to Ford and Lincoln dealerships for FAD-exclusive parts (e.g., bulk and case goods of Motorcraft oils, fluids, chemicals; batteries; selected powertrain products), directly supporting dealer sales and satisfaction.
- Strategic Impact & Leadership:
- Play a critical role in the development and execution of the Aftermarket Business Plan and overall sales strategy.
