Location Designation: Fully Remote 

 

 

This position is fully remote

Role Overview:

Senior Associate role will be critical in supporting the team’s oversight of vendor performance. This role will be responsible for owning various projects and initiatives spanning across the Retail Life, DI, and LTC lines of business.  Additionally, this role will entail training and development of other junior staff.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Ownership of the maintenance of the Vendor Governance Program documents for all vendors and all lines of business 
    Proactively identify and implement solutions to address operational issues with limited management oversight
  • Support other team members by providing guidance and informal leadership on cooperative projects.
    Compile, generate, and provide analysis of vendor performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards to assist in the monitoring of various performance metrics to measure against SLAs and other contract requirements
  • SLA monitoring, reporting, analyzing
  • Conduct ongoing QA Audits of vendor services and drive improvements in the team’s audit approachDevelop presentation materials & regular meeting facilitation
  • Address vendor complaints and field inquiries
  • Ownership and execution of various initiatives and projects
  • Assist leadership with contract management.
  • Lead efforts to with Technology to catalog issues and influence prioritization & execution of service ticket resolution. 
  • Training and development of junior level departmental employees

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Quick learner who can work under limited supervision.
  • Possess a continuous process improvement mindset with an ability to identify problems and propose/implement solutions.
  • Experience delivering high caliber service to internal and external stakeholders and customers. 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required, and strong Tableau or other data visualization skills are necessary. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.  
  • Proven experience prioritizing several concurrent projects and initiatives. 
  • Critical thinking, data analysis, project management, problem-solving, and collaboration will be important to the success in this role.
  • Training and development of junior level employees as needed.  development of other junior level employees as needed.
  • 2-4 years prior vendor management experience, insurance industry knowledge, exposure to Underwriting requiriements, project management, Third Party / External vendor party 
  • Bachelor's Degree

 

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $100,000-$143,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
