Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Fluency in both English and Spanish required
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure is required in the state(s) where patients are physically located at the time of the telehealth visit
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
- Experience managing patients with diabetes strongly preferred
- Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant through a nationally recognized certifying organization such as AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
- Active DEA registration required if prescribing medications
- Professional liability malpractice insurance coverage that meets company requirements or willingness to obtain coverage
- Ability to provide telehealth services in accordance with state licensing regulations
- Understanding of privacy and security practices required for handling protected health information.
