• Assist in reviewing and interpreting customer contracts to determine the proper revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606 and other applicable accounting standards. • Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition for all sales and service agreements. • Maintain and update revenue schedules. • Assist in leading the revenue recognition process during the month-end close, ensuring all journal entries related to revenue, deferred revenue, and revenue accruals are accurate and posted in a timely manner. • Reconcile revenue-related accounts, including deferred revenue and unbilled revenue, ensuring proper documentation and audit trails. • Prepare and post necessary revenue adjustments, including revenue reclassifications, deferrals, and accruals. • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of revenue figures and supporting disclosures. • Provide in-depth variance analysis for revenue accounts and explain fluctuations against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods. • Work closely with the sales, legal, and billing teams to review and assess new contracts for revenue recognition implications. • Identify areas for process improvement within the revenue recognition function and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
