Job Description
• Provide research and administrative support to the Center for Peace and Security in the Middle East.
• Gather and analyze data for inclusion in reports and articles.
• Write literature reviews using gathered data.
• Keep the expert and team up to date on current events.
• Assist the expert with research projects and presentations.
• Assist with articles, op-eds, reports, and briefing memos.
• Create databases of department contacts.
• Assist with administrative tasks and event support.
Job Requirements
- Recent graduates or current students working towards a degree in history, political science, international relations, economics, security studies, Middle Eastern studies, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in diplomacy issues in the Middle East and/or North Africa.
- Ability to work independently, manage time wisely, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in social media analysis is especially valued.
- Detail-focused, reliable, professional, and possess strong research, writing, editing, and analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Hebrew is required.
- Especially interested in candidates with Persian, Mandarin, and Russian skills.
