Job Description

Role Description

The Supplier Quality Manager will be a key contributor to the quality and supply chain organization and heavily influence the overall quality of the ZincFive family of products. The role will be responsible for ensuring that products and materials sourced from suppliers meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements and developing relationships with key suppliers. This position involves developing and implementing quality strategies, conducting audits, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with suppliers to maintain high quality throughout the supply chain. The person in this role will develop a supplier quality team to support supplier development, process and product improvement.

The position may be worked remotely or at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon and reports to the Director of Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • 8+ years Supplier Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years supervisory or management leadership
  • Experienced in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
  • Experienced in product development life cycle management
  • Critical thinking, problem solving skills, attention to details, teamwork
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in supplier quality management
  • A strong understanding of quality management principles, quality control processes, and relevant industry standards (ISO 9001)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical skills and interpersonal skills to manage supplier relationships effectively
  • Deep understanding of quality management systems, risk management, and supplier auditing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Strong project management experience
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
  • Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Certified auditor in ISO 14001 and 45001
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles and QMS software
