Job Description

Role Description

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our team supporting a key program with the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, the Product Manager will own the full product lifecycle from discovery and roadmap planning through launch and iteration. You will be translating customer needs and business goals into clear product requirements. You will partner closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to prioritize features, define success metrics, and drive alignment across teams, ensuring products are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision
  • Conduct user research and discovery to deeply understand customer pain points and needs
  • Translate business and user requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure successful product execution
  • Prioritize the product backlog and make trade-off decisions based on business value, feasibility, and user impact
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future iterations
  • Facilitate sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives in partnership with engineering leads
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early and drive resolution across teams
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, stakeholders, and data to continuously improve the product

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, business administration, information systems, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in data analysis and related software tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
