Role Description
Zantech is looking for a talented Sr Web Developer/Engineer to contribute to the success of our DoD Client. The Sr Web Developer/Engineer is responsible for development of high-end client-server based applications, designing and developing web pages, and porting applications to web interfaces for the DLA Disposition Integration Web (DIW) Program Office.
- Utilize HTML, XML, PERL, Apache, IIS, ASP.NET C# and VB, SSRS, ASP.NET Core, Angular, iOS Mobile Development, Xamarin, and Oracle.
- Interface with clients to determine requirements.
- Requires extremely strong customer relation skills and ability to work independently with no supervision supporting applications including ETID, RTD Web/Mobile, Compliance Suite, GenComm, ESP, and future mobile applications.
This role directly impacts the functionality, usability, and performance of web and mobile applications that enable DLA's mission to manage disposal of excess property from military services and support disaster relief operations nationwide.
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software for DIW applications.
- Develop high-end client-server applications; design/develop web pages and web interfaces.
- Address systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform issues.
- Interface with clients/end users to identify application requirements; perform feasibility analysis.
- Research, test, build, and coordinate conversion/integration of new products.
- Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.
- Test and validate software; ensure Section 508 compliance.
- Develop user manuals and technical documentation.
- Mobile development: iOS applications, Xamarin cross-platform development.
- Database integration with Oracle and SQL Server.
- Performance optimization and security implementation.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in scripting, software development, web page design and development.
- 10 years of hands-on software development/web-page development experience.

- CompTIA Security+.
- Section 508 Trusted Tester certification.
- ITIL Foundation or higher.
Required Security Clearance
- Active Secret Clearance (minimum) and US Citizenship per contract requirements.
