Job Summary:
Build and manage relationships with customers within the Southeast Region which includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer locations within the region and sell LCS products and services including maintenance agreements, engineered solutions, and spare and change parts programs
- Review customer supplied information/samples in the creation of quotations and the completion of orders for wear and change parts items
- Work with internal teams (engineering, production, accounting, sales, and service) to determine solutions as well as pricing of items required
- Communicate, both written and verbal, with customers and company management pertaining to issue definition, resolution, and volume aspects
- Manage daily work/order flow and expedite information/orders relative to customer demand
- Develop customer opportunities and requests into Krones products and solutions for sales to end customer
- Attend in-person Sales meetings (a minimum of twice per year) and other functions that may occur outside of designated region
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A college degree, or extensive industry experience, is required
- At least 3 years of Sales and/or customer service experience required
- Strong knowledge of Krones machinery/product line (fillers, labelers, packers, blow molders, conveyors, etc.)
- Engineering or technical experience is a plus
- The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, intelligent, and organized self-starter with the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with our customers
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems as well as MS Office Suite strongly preferred
This is a remote Sales position that requires approximately 60% travel in a typical workweek, but there are occasional weeks that could require more. The individual in this position must reside in, or be able and willing to relocate to, one of the states within the region, with a strong preference for Florida or Georgia.
Employees receive compensation aligned with their skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $110,000. In addition, there are bonus opportunities, however, these bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and Company performance.
