Job Description

• Perform On-site Commissioning Activities and Manage Projects (50%) • Lead on-site inspections, validation, functional testing, troubleshooting, and verification of mechanical and controls systems using appropriate technical equipment. • Participate in factory witness testing and observe startup activities. • Direct vendors and contractors during testing and commissioning activities. • Serve as primary site contact, onboarding project teams, coordinating resources, forecasting needs, and maintaining strong client relationships. • Develop project proposals (scope, schedule, budget) with supervisory input and manage project timelines, risks, and cost controls to meet deadlines and deliverables. • Develop Testing Plans and Procedures for Complex Projects (20%) • Develop comprehensive commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and functional performance test scripts for complex projects. • Review Construction Related Design Documents, Drawings and Specifications(15%) • Review shop drawings, submittals, and sequences of operations. • Lead and participate in commissioning-focused design reviews. • Reporting & Documentation (15%) • Prepare and oversee project communications, progress reports, and final commissioning reports for stakeholders and clients. • Manage personal and project team hours using company tools.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline or two years’ experience with installation, hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of mechanical and controls infrastructure.
  • Minimum eight years’ additional experience with installation, hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of mechanical and controls infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and controls system principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to complete assignments accurately.
  • Skilled in analyzing and preparing technical documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing interactions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing priorities, deadlines, and pressure effectively.
  • Capable of planning and delegating tasks across project teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in remote and on-site environments with strong self-motivation and proactive problem-solving.
  • Commitment to following company and site safety requirements.
  • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and improve operations.
