This position offers the opportunity to work fully remote within the United States (except for Alaska and/or Hawaii). Team members who choose virtual / remote work should have an adequate space to serve as their home office, and must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours. This position will require employees to come on site to one of our St. Louis campus locations a few times per year for meetings/events or as needed. #LI-REMOTE
Responsibilities
The IT Asset Specialist 2 is responsible for the lifecycle management of moderately complex IT assets including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, compliance, vendor relationships, and disposal. Performs task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service. Documents and maintains asset inventory records.
This role offers the opportunity to directly influence Enterprise Mobility’s asset compliance, vendor engagement, and operational efficiency.
This successful candidate will passionately work toward a good support experience for our 90,000+ users. They will be able to apply their broad knowledge and skills to address complex issues and contribute to achieving company objectives creatively and effectively. They are subject matter experts within our support environment, focusing on operational, tactical, and strategic activities while providing and creating technical solutions, and coordinating cross-team efforts. They also focus on improving those processes through task automation, recommendation of enhancements, and advising on service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards, all while prioritizing security and compliance.
