Job Description

The Universal Television Entertainment team is seeking a strategic, culturally fluent Brand Marketing Sr. Director to help drive the development and activation of 360° brand campaigns for NBC and Peacock. This role will play a key part in shaping how scripted and unscripted series campaigns come to life across every touchpoint - from integrations and partnerships to platform presence and broader cultural moments.

The Sr. Director, Brand Marketing will translate brand strategy into cohesive, insight‑driven campaign frameworks, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure brand consistency and excellence across creative, media, social, partnerships, product, and on‑platform experiences. This role will streamline how brand strategy integrates across the full marketing ecosystem, ensuring clarity, alignment, and high‑impact execution.

This position is ideal for someone energized by pop culture, passionate about NBC and Peacock content, and skilled at turning insights and cultural narratives into compelling 360 brand storytelling that deepens audience connection on and off platform.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop strategic, insight‑driven marketing campaigns for title launches across NBC & Peacock, grounded in a strong understanding of audience behavior, cultural trends, and platform performance data.
  • Leverage consumer insights, audience research, and campaign performance reporting to inform marketing strategy, optimize creative, and drive real‑time pivots that improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Synthesize complex data and insights into clear narratives, enabling teams and executives to quickly understand opportunities, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Build best‑in‑class storytelling materials and executive‑ready presentations, including comprehensive decks that clearly articulate campaign strategy, creative direction, performance results, and next steps.
  • Serve as the central hub of information for assigned titles/campaigns, ensuring holistic alignment across programming, creative marketing, social, media, publicity, product, creative operations, and sales.
  • Present strategies, creative, and analytical updates to internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., Executive Producers, Showrunners, Studios, Production Companies, Talent) with clarity, professionalism, and confidence.
  • Champion strong communication practices, ensuring all written, verbal, and visual communication upholds high standards of professionalism.
  • Build and maintain productive, insight-rich relationships with audience insights, analytics, and research teams to deepen understanding of viewer behavior and competitive landscape.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 8 years+ of relevant experience in Entertainment, Digital Media, and/or direct-to-consumer marketing.
  • Experience and passion for building innovative 360-marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Comfortable making data-informed marketing decisions including reviewing and analyzing campaign performance data and optimizing creative accordingly.
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including expertise in building clear, compelling presentation decks (PowerPoint) and professional written communication (Word, Email, Briefs).

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

  • Salary range: $140,000- $185,000 (bonus eligible and long-term incentive eligible)
