Job Description

• Guides, develops, implements and evaluates NAE efforts to foster the discipleship of everyday evangelicals with a comprehensive gospel for our common life in complex times • Works with NAE staff and partners to create and disseminate resources, convene gatherings, create experiences, develop programs and utilize communications tools to inform and inspire evangelicals • Fosters collaborative efforts between evangelicals and broader civic entities to promote flourishing and a vibrant evangelical witness • Writes and speaks in support of the work of the PFF to the church and broader society • Carefully and intentionally builds relationships across the evangelical spectrum • Creates reports for NAE leadership and project funders • Travels for connection and relationship building • Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
  • Agreement to and affirmation of the NAE Statement of Faith and the NAE’s public policy document, “ For the Health of the Nation: An Evangelical Call to Civic Responsibility ”
  • Regular attendance at an evangelical church
  • Familiarity with and relationships in the evangelical community
  • Minimum of four years of professional experience (ministry or otherwise)
  • Baccalaureate degree required, Masters degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to apply theology to public matters
  • Experience with the dynamics of discipleship or spiritual formation
  • Ability to lead others to achieve project goals
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relational and interpersonal skills
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and flexibility to adjust to needs of a growing organization
