Job Description

• Owning P&L for multiple states and driving business growth across all insurance lines. • Executing state and product strategies, optimizing customer experience, retention, conversion, and pricing. • Analyzing data and feedback to refine coverage offerings, streamline the application process, and enhance satisfaction. • Collaborating with tech teams to improve agent and customer experiences. • Managing projects from planning to execution, ensuring high-quality outcomes. • Navigating regulatory approvals and filing necessary changes. • Identifying opportunities to automate and improve internal processes. • Serving as a company expert on state-specific insurance markets, regulations, and competitive landscapes. • Acting as a key liaison between insurance products and cross-functional teams, aligning goals and influencing decisions. • Defining product-market fit, leveraging customer insights to enhance offerings.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant insurance product experience
  • 4+ years of functional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, mathematics, finance, actuarial science, accounting, economics, engineering, or another quantitative discipline
  • Prior insurance product management experience with a deep understanding of state P&Ls, insurance regulations, and product requirements
  • Proven ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and quickly grasp new concepts and technologies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience with rate-making, forecasting, modeling, and competitive analysis
