• Medical coding is the transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes • Ensure the codes are applied correctly during the medical billing process • Help abstract information from documentation, assign codes, and create claims • Provide experienced, competent, professionally credentialed personnel for coding and/or auditing activities

  • Must be able to pass National Agency Check and Background for clearance
  • Must have computer and internet at home
  • MUST MAINTAIN A 95% accuracy level
  • Credentialed and must have completed an accredited program for coding certification
