Role Description

As an Associate Producer, you will support the end-to-end development of motion-based games — from concept through launch — ensuring projects stay on track, teams stay aligned, and our player experience remains magical, intuitive, and family-friendly.

You’ll work closely with design, engineering, art, QA, and external partners to coordinate deliverables, manage schedules, and maintain clear communication across stakeholders.

This is an ideal role for someone who loves games, thrives in fast-moving environments, and cares deeply about creating meaningful experiences for kids and families.

What You’ll Do

  • Production & Execution
    • Maintain production schedules, and milestone tracking
    • Participate in and help run stand-ups and cross-functional sync meetings
    • Track dependencies, risks, and blockers across teams
    • Ensure builds and deliverables are on time and aligned with scope
    • Prepare milestone reports and stakeholder updates
  • Motion-Based Gameplay Support
    • Coordinate implementation of camera-based motion gameplay systems
    • Support playtesting with kids and families; synthesize feedback into actionable insights
    • Track motion calibration, usability improvements, and accessibility features
    • Ensure experiences are intuitive for a wide age range and skill levels
    • Evaluate milestones, write build notes and help compile stakeholder feedback
  • Kids & Family Focus
    • Advocate for age-appropriate design and safety considerations
    • Support external brand or IP collaboration workflows when applicable
    • Keep fun, accessibility, and inclusivity at the center of development
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as the communication bridge between creative, technical, and business teams
    • Partner with QA to prioritize and track bug resolution
    • Support publishing needs (build delivery, feature documentation, gameplay capture coordination)
    • Help coordinate external development partners when needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in game production or project management
  • Experience working on shipped game titles (mobile, console, or interactive platform)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
  • Experience with tools such as GitHub, Notion, Asana, or equivalent
  • Passion for kids, family entertainment, and active play
  • Willingness to be available for recurring calls with various time zones including Hong Kong (4-7pm pacific Monday-Thursday)

Bonus Points

  • Experience with motion-based, camera-based, or fitness-style games
  • Experience working with licensed IP or external partners
  • Background in consumer hardware or platform-based products
  • Experience conducting or coordinating playtests with children

Who You Are

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing startup environment
  • Collaborative and low-ego
  • Energized by building products that get kids moving and families playing together

Benefits
